MASALA CORN

INGREDIENTS :




Poppy seeds : 2 tspoons
Red chillies : 2
Ginger : 1 inch piece
Garlic : 2 cloves
Jeera/cumin : 1/4tspoon
Onion : 2 (medium size)
Garam masala : 1/4 tspoon
Oil : 2 tbspoons
Tender corn : 1
Salt : as required

METHOD :

  • Mix poppy seeds, red chillies, ginger, garlic, jeera, onion & form a smooth paste.
  • Make corn into 4 pieces.

  • Heat oil in a pan, add this paste & fry till the rawness disappears.
  • Now add 1/2 cup of water, corn pieces, garam masala, salt & saute  for 15-20 min until it is cooked.
  • Now serve corn with masala.

Spicy masala corn is ready.....


NOTE :

Poppy seeds can be substituted with 4 spoons of grated coconut also.....
